Positioned as a medium sized professional services provider in South African standards working relationship with other quantity surveying companies exists, enabling us to render any service required in both Quantity Surveying and the Project Management environment.
HISTORY
The firm was established in 1971 as a sub-division of Partnership Daan Kesting, which at the time was a multi disciplinary firm. In 1979 the quantity surveying section became a separate company and practiced as M D van Schalkwyk Incorporate Quantity Surveyors. During 1988 we converted to a closed corporation, practicing as M D van Schalkwyk & Blake Quantity Surveyors cc. The firm also practiced in Port Elizabeth during the period 1988 to 2001 as MD van Schalkwyk & Potgieter Quantity Surveyors cc and still has an active working relationship with them. The name of MD van Schalkwyk & Blake was changed in January 2010 to VSB Quantity Surveyors cc.
